Membership & Benefits

Membership in the community club is open to all Forest Glen residents. Dues are $40.00 per household per year and are used for winter snowplowing, our 4th of July parade, community beautification and a plethora of other neighborhood events. Please attend our community club meetings to be part of how your dues are spent.

Dues can be paid in person at community club meetings and events, mail at the address below or Zelle. Our fiscal year runs from November 1 to October 31.

The Community Club organizes many family-friendly events. Learn more about our events here.

coveted ribbons

Our neighbors take pride in their holiday decorating and green thumb skills and are awarded ribbons throughout the year.

What does your $40 annual dues cover?

Snow plowing is the Club's largest expense. The General Fund covers our community events and holiday ribbons. Garden Club maintains our community gardens.

Our goal is to get 65%!

Snow Plow Logistics

Announcements will be made on Facebook and through our newsletter when the Club will call out the snow plow, typically soon after snow fall ends. The plows will make one pass down the center of two to three blocks at a time. The plows will have flashing lights during the first center pass. Please move your car using the following schedule:

  • If the date is even (i.e. February 12), the side of the street with even addresses (i.e. 4834 W. Berwyn) will be plowed first, followed by the odd numbered side.

  • If the date is odd (i.e. February 13), the side of the street with odd addresses (i.e. 4835 W. Berwyn) will be plowed first, followed by the even numbered side.

If you happen to miss the plows the first time around, please move your car and they will be back the next day for clean up. Please note that alleys are not part of the private service.

Block Reps

Our block reps keep the community connected by welcoming new neighbors and going door to door biannually asking for membership dues. If you are interested in becoming a block rep, please send us a message!
