Parade Details: 70 years is a major achievement and the Forest Glen Independence Day parade is one of the longest running parades in Chicago. In honor of it's platinum anniversary, get out your red, white and blue and let’s bring the neighborhood together to celebrate one of our favorite days in Forest Glen! Parking/Street Closures If you are planning to be out of town for the holiday weekend and on the parade route, please make sure your car is moved before Thursday morning. To ensure safety and an enjoyable experience for everyone, please be mindful of No Parking signs and street closures.
